Yap Yoon Sian, a structural engineer, founded Innocom Technologies nearly three decades ago with the firm belief that engineering and IT could power smarter, more resilient organizations. From those early days serving Singapore’s construction and engineering sectors, Innocom has grown into a trusted IT solutions provider for many more industries, such as oil and gas, marine, and pharmaceuticals.

As the company continues to grow, Crayon empowers its team with the intelligent Cloud-iQ platform, continuous enablement, and a robust ecosystem of partners and services.

Driving growth through end-to-end enablement.

Helmed by Mr. Yap and his wife Veronica Lee, Innocom now serves a diverse customer base that includes government offices and SMBs. The company is also expanding its footprint into Malaysia.

Innocom’s decades-long success has been powered by its ability to embrace new technologies, partnerships, and tools to create better value for customers. Among those partnerships, Crayon has played a pivotal role in enabling and sustaining Innocom’s growth.

With its broad ecosystem of partners, services, and expertise, Crayon provides end-to-end enablement for Innocom — from pre-sales guidance to post-sales care. This includes training and workshops that strengthen Innocom’s sales and technical teams, along with prompt communication whenever Innocom needs it.

Veronica shares, “Crayon has a very dependable team that follows up with all their their channel partners,” says Veronica. “They know the assistance that we need. And in terms of pricing, everything is very competitive.”

Mr. Yap adds that Crayon not only responds to their queries, but also anticipates them. He appreciates how proactive the Crayon team is in introducing new products and partners. This allows Innocom to unlock fresh opportunities in an ever-changing market.

Simplifying daily operations with Cloud-iQ.

When it comes to day-to-day operations, Cloud-iQ has become an essential tool for Innocom. Crayon’s cloud and software procurement and management platform has powerful features, from detailed dashboards to actionable reporting, that help Innocom automate processes and deliver faster results. For Veronica, who leads Innocom’s finance and marketing teams, the platform provides much more than visibility. It also boosts efficiency and autonomy.

“I cannot handle everything. I need a team, and when you have a team you need to give them direction,” she shares. “That is where Cloud-iQ comes in. It can be used by different groups of people with the same goal and objective. It helps us direct our focus on the business — on maximizing opportunities or tackling any issues.”

She explains that Cloud-iQ’s self-servicing features have transformed how her team works. “My staff can work even without my direction. The platform guides them. Anytime, anywhere, they can go to Cloud-iQ to get the information or support they need to assist our customers.”

Veronica describes Cloud-iQ as a “pillar of support” her team can lean on across sales, account management, and technical support, reducing friction and keeping Innocom’s operations agile.

Cloud-iQ is a useful tool for my staff to work independently without my direct supervision. The platform guides them effectively, ensuring that business operations are handled properly.
