Microsoft 365 Copilot Business: SMB offers and opportunities.
From July 1, Microsoft's new SMB Copilot pricing creates a bigger partner opportunity. Here's what's changed and how to turn it into more sales.

The digital era can make it easy for businesses to lose sight of the human qualities we strive for that make life more meaningful. Crayon aims to put this back in the frame for channel partner networks through its Tech For Good program, making it easy for every enterprise to participate in purpose-driven business initiatives.
Crayon has been a leader in achieving great results for non-profit organisations and creating partnerships between the sector and many of its channel partners. Winners in 2023 and 2024 at the CRN Impact Awards, Crayon sees great importance in connection excellent technology providers with great community enterprises to give them the best support possible to achieve their aims.
“Crayon puts ‘the power of technology to drive the greater good’ at the heart of our whole business mission,” said Rhonda Robati, Crayon executive vice president, Asia Pacific. “So the Tech For Good program is not just an offshoot of what we do. We see it as core to bringing that mission to life. The power of great IT to deliver impact wherever it is needed most.”
Across its global program, Crayon is proud to provide technical support to non-profit organisations, as well as co-design and co-implement tech solutions that help tackle societal issues across climate conservation, workplace diversity, financial service support for the unbanked, and many more. In 2025 they want to encourage more channel partners to join the cause and unlock opportunities that drive both revenue growth and staff satisfaction.
Tech For Good runs impactful projects across the world, with many engagements throughout the Asia Pacific region. From Singapore to Samoa and the Philippines, Crayon looks to put world class IT to work to make a difference to local communities. Places where tech is not always expected to be an enabler for change and opportunity.
Here in Australia, Tech For Good has connected Crayon partner humanIT with WEstjustice, a community legal centre serving marginalised groups around issues of economic injustice, gender-based violence, and cultural diversity. The mission was an all-encompassing digital transformation to upgrade outdated systems that were making it difficult for staff to successfully work remotely while serving their clients.
As a result of this work, WEstjustice has reduced admin overhead by 30%, with the time required to process and manage cases now halved. Its legal team can effectively double their case load and they have increased successful case resolutions by 15%. This is tech-driven impact delivering tangible benefits for social good, while also greatly improving the organisation’s cybersecurity posture.
Crayon partner OPC has connected with Ronald McDonald House Charities ACT & South East NSW (RMHC), which works to support families of children with serious illness and help them stay close together during difficult times. RMHC was struggling to implement the Essential Eight cybersecurity framework with its limited IT staff, but had an urgent need for support to meet compliance demands given its work with families and children.
OPC works with over 25 not-for-profits in the ACT, but CEO Clinton Henderson had a personal connection with RMHC having had family directly experience their hospitality. Not only has OPC delivered the IT services support required by RMHC, they also send OPC team members to work in the kitchens as volunteers to feed parents and staff. This deepens their connection with the charity and drive home what it means to partner with such a valuable organisation.
Through Tech For Good, Crayon aims to drive best value pricing for the licenses and infrastructure used to transform IT for these organisations. These direct savings help channel partners to still see strong value from their work while knowing the client is getting the value enhancement they need as a not-for-profit.
Crayon is eager to encourage more channel partners to explore the opportunities presented through its Tech For Good program. Many may think they are ineligible to take on such work, but Crayon makes it simple to embrace working with NGOs and reward the business and their staff with building inspirational relationships with new clients.
Crayon says its feedback on Tech For Good partnerships is a stream of heartwarming stories. For the channel partner teams who get to help make a difference, these are opportunities that grow their businesses but also strengthen team loyalty and pride in their work.
“Through the Tech For Good program we offer pathways that take partners from zero experience working with not-for-profits to finding an ideal first engagement,” Robati said. “It’s always so pleasing to go on that journey with a partner to grow their bottom-line while achieving purposeful impact at the same time.”
If the new year is a time for resolutions, Crayon wants to encourage channel partners to explore the program. What better start to the year than giving your team a positive new mission to draw new meaning from their work?
