(New Zealand) — Crayon, a SoftwareOne company and global leader in IT services and innovation, has been named a finalist in three categories at the 2026 Reseller News Innovation Awards, recognising its partner-first approach to distribution in New Zealand.

Crayon is a finalist for Creativity, Specialist, and Marketplace, with all three recognitions falling under the Distributor category. Its entries were selected among 170 finalists from 75 organisations.

Together, the three finalist recognitions reflect Crayon’s Distribution Done Differently approach, built around going beyond software procurement to give partners the services, expertise and technology they need to grow their businesses and deliver stronger outcomes for their customers.

The recognition comes at an important point in Crayon’s journey as it transitions to SoftwareOne, reinforcing a shared commitment to putting partners first and creating greater value for the channel.

In the Creativity category, Crayon was recognised for a services-led distribution model designed to build partner capability rather than simply move licences. Through its six value pillars, Crayon works as an extension of partner teams, giving them access to expertise and capabilities that may be difficult to build in-house.

The Specialist finalist recognition highlights Crayon’s hands-on approach to helping partners strengthen their position as trusted advisors. Through executive roundtables, Secure AI immersion briefings, and direct coaching, Crayon works alongside partners in conversations with their end customers, bringing expertise and independent market insights directly into the room.

Crayon’s Marketplace recognition centres on the next generation of Cloud-iQ, its cloud commerce platform. Cloud-iQ brings procurement, subscription management, billing, renewals, reporting, and support into one experience. Enhanced reporting helps partners identify growth opportunities from their commercial data, while AI assistance provides instant answers to product, pricing, and licensing questions, helping partners respond to customers faster.
