The Azure Migration Experts

What we do
AWS to Azure Migration.
Many born in the cloud players are shifting from AWS to Azure given its wide presence in many regions and expanding catalogue of services.
We work with partners to evaluate existing AWS environments and match AWS services to their Azure counterparts. As part of the process, we provide cost projections for informed decision-making, and thorough testing of the Azure environment.
Additionally, Crayon optimises performance post-migration ensuring a seamless transition to Azure.
On-Premises or Hosted to Azure
Cloud suitable workloads can be migrated to Azure’s IaaS using the lift-and-shift approach. Alternatively, PaaS or hybrid cloud solutions can be utilised to address unique customer requirements (which may include refactoring apps /services or retaining sensitive data on-premises).
Typical cloud migration areas include Server or Application VM Migration, Infrastructure Migration, and Virtual Desktop (RDS/AVD) Migration.
There are specific funded programs designed to alleviate the costs of migration based on the size and complexity of the migration project, available via Crayon.
Azure-to-Azure Migration
Customers consuming Azure through Open and Enterprise Agreement licensing models can be migrated to Azure through the Microsoft CSP program.
The CSP model offers partners the opportunity to deliver a business solution greater than simply reselling Azure services in isolation.
Our Azure Expert MSP Status allows us to migrate from EA to CSP via billing change rather than technical migration which minimises impact to your business continuity.
Database Migration to Azure
Partners moving customer’s LOB applications to Azure benefit from our expertise in the many scenarios involving database migration and optimisation for the cloud model.
Our extensive toolset, ranging from native Azure Data Migration tool to partner-built assessment and migration tools helps partners with assessment, optimisation, and migration of databases to the cloud.
We cover the following scenarios for partners today:
- Hosted or on-premises SQL to Azure SQL (with choice and recommendations on IaaS or PaaS)
- MYSQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB to Azure MYSQL, PostgreSQL and CosmosDB
