Solentive is a digital technology consultancy, servicing both enterprise and emerging brands in the Australian market. Its thriving strategy and advisory practice is underpinned with mature service and solution offerings spanning AI and automation, data and analytics, software development and secure modern workplace. 

 As consultants and developers in these fields, staying up-to-the-minute with emerging trends is essential for Solentive. A core premise of the firm’s advisory practice is to guide customers through technology ‘hype cycles’, based on data-driven and robust analysis, unclouded by assumption, preconception or commercially influenced vendor bias.   

 The Crayon Connect partner summit event – with its diverse line-up of industry experts – makes a difference to Solentive’s rigorous impartiality. The format is well suited to rapidly gathering external perspectives that can challenge – or validate – the team’s thinking.  

 “We’ve been working on some things for the last twelve months around trends,” explains CEO Rebecca Swinfield, “so it’s interesting to see how some of those play out in the market.” 

Each Crayon Connect event explores mega-trend impacts on customer business objectives and technology investment decisions. The 2025 summit kicked off with Risk and Resilience Strategies for Innovation Focused Business to examine the rise of AI and its influence on security and continuity strategies. 

The language of business-led security was emphasised through event presentations and sessions. For example, data from an independent regional study showed critical business objectives forming around operational data resilience and reductions in both enterprise and IT risk.  

For Solentive, security is a horizontal and underpinning factor in every customer conversation, so the messaging to partners was on-point. “It’s very different to traditional infrastructure-led security, and much around how it impacts the business,” notes Swinfield. 

 And, as customer demand continues to intersect with Solentive’s capability to map business futures built on secure, AI-powered innovation, the enablement provided by with Crayon certainly doesn’t stop with event based enablement. Crayon’s approach provides Solentive with connections to partners with specialisations that complement Solentive’s core capabilities, support for go-to-market activity and assistance to navigate change to vendor programs and channel strategies
