Microsoft Ignite 2025: the ‘need-to-know’ highlights

Lim Hui Jie, founder of Singapore-based Vision Group, believes data is a core driver of business transformation. With Crayon’s support through the ISV Innovation Hub, the company is connecting with partners and customers, expanding into vendor marketplaces, and helping enterprises see what’s possible with AI-powered technology.
“When we first started Vision, we identified that technology was going to be a key pillar that will impact every single business out there,” says Hui Jie.
Singling out data as a core area in industries’ digital transformation, the Vision team began looking into the most impactful data-related technologies. This led to the Singapore-based company’s three areas of focus: artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, and cybersecurity.
In recent years, Vision has turned the lens on generative AI. “This really is going to be a game changer,” says Hui Jie. “It’s not only going to impact every single country and every single industry, but every single function. Today, we are very much in the early stages of generative AI, but it’s going to change rapidly in a number of years.”
He recalls that when he first connected with Crayon through its ISV Innovation Hub, one of the earliest conversations focused on generative AI.
“When we introduced our company, along with the solutions we’re building in the generative AI space, I saw that Crayon had a genuine interest in the products we were carrying, and they started introducing us to different partners and customers they had,” Hui Jie shares.

As Vision eyes a key role in AI solutions and data innovation, Crayon has been instrumental in helping the company get the word out.
The ISV Innovation Hub empowers Vision to scale by helping the company enter the Microsoft, Alibaba Cloud, and AWS Marketplaces. Additionally, personal introductions, events, and various outreach programs enable Vision to reach new customers.
For Hui Jie, Crayon’s partner events allow him to not only connect with prospective customers but also learn how to deliver greater value. He appreciates these events’ more relaxed atmosphere, where his team can make meaningful connections outside the boardroom. “It allows us to better interact with the different customers and partners to know what pain points they’re facing and get to the areas that will really impact them.”
With Crayon’s assistance, Vision has built relationships that have translated into business growth.
“Crayon connects us with partners that eventually carry our product. That’s very important because with more customers adopting our products and more partners adopting our solutions to drive to their end customers, that increases our revenue as well,” Hui Jie explains.
By enabling many engagements through a single team, Crayon streamlines operations for Vision. “Rather than going to multiple distributors to get different things, we’re able to work with Crayon effectively to get what we need in a timely manner,” Hiu Jie says.
Crayon provides “one of the most top-notch support we have ever experienced in the industry,” he shares, noting that the Crayon team shows up for rush projects or sudden challenges, and stays connected even on weekends and holidays. “That amount of support makes us so excited to work together with them.”
He adds that Crayon’s responsive support is essential to his team’s peace of mind. “It’s very crucial, especially in tech, where things are moving so fast.”
In the years Vision has been working with Crayon, what strikes Hui Jie most is how “highly partner-centric” Crayon is.
“Crayon always looks at how they can support partners like us to build our ecosystem and brand awareness,” he says. “And one of the things we really benefit from is the different partner events and personal connections Crayon has brought us into so that we’re able to get our brand out there, amplify our business, and create more connections.”
He adds, “I love working with Crayon because of the relationship that we have with them, the relationships we’ve built through them, and the relationships they continue to bring us into.”
