Tech Buying Budgets for SMBs on the Rise
SMBs across the APAC are not just increasing their technology investments—they are making strategic, forward-thinking moves to position themselves for long-term growth.
Crayon’s updated Partner to Partner Program unlocks opportunities, connecting expert providers with businesses seeking advanced technological solutions.
(Sydney, Australia) — Following a successful trial launch in ANZ last year, Crayon, a global leader in IT services and innovation, has formalised its Partner Connections program as part of its value-add initiatives for the channel community. The program provides a structured approach to developing sales opportunities via a partner-to-partner model, with a specific focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365.
As the technology landscape becomes more complex, it is harder for partners to address the growing number of unique, niche or industry specific needs of their customers. While demand for solutions like ERP, CRM and Microsoft’s Power Platform remain strong across ANZ, the technical delivery and implementation of such solutions can be a barrier to entry for some partners. The Partner Connections program addresses this by facilitating collaboration between partners with Dynamics 365 sales opportunities, and those with the expertise to deliver the technical solution.
Combining commercial and technical expertise to drive shared opportunities in the Dynamics 365 ecosystem. This collaboration helps extend reach, expand deals, and accelerate wins, ensuring companies find the right partners to meet their specific needs.
With plans to expand the program across the APAC region, the revamped initiative builds on the success of the 2023 launch, offering businesses of all sizes a competitive edge through access to larger, more strategic partnerships.
The program provides a structured approach to connecting referring partners (partners with sales opportunities) with premier service partners (partners with proven technical solution delivery expertise). The unique program initiatives offer a range of key features that set it apart from others. One of the standout aspects is Crayon’s ability to identify the best expert partners for each business’s needs, ensuring the right match is made for each project. By facilitating these connections, Crayon enables enterprises to access expanded market opportunities, allowing them to engage in larger deals and contribute specific expertise to projects.
Crayon also provides ongoing support, offering continuous coaching and guidance to help both partners and businesses navigate new opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
The program is offered at no cost, allowing businesses to explore partnerships without financial barriers or commitment hurdles.
While traditional partner-to-partner models are growing in popularity, Crayon’s Partner Connections program has established trust and robust rules for engagement between all parties, which is key to success. Crayon’s program is governed through an extensive legal framework that guides commercial terms, roles and responsibilities, as well as protocols for secure collaboration. This commitment to governance allows for safe, transparent collaboration between partners and customers.
Joel Ramirez, Crayon’s Senior Commercial Director for Channel APAC, commented, “As a former business owner, I understand the challenges companies face when trying to engage in larger, more complex deals. That’s why we designed the Partner Connections program to provide access to expert partners with the technical know-how to close those deals. This ensures businesses remain competitive without the fear of losing customers.” Ramirez added, “We’ve built trust through legal procedures that protect partners from losing clients and ensures partnerships are beneficial for all involved.”
As the ANZ market evolves, businesses need access to expertise across a range of technologies and services, from cloud computing to AI-driven business applications. The Partner Connections program highlights Crayon’s ongoing commitment to building a strong, collaborative partner ecosystem.
