AfterDark Technology scaled its Essential Eight cybersecurity services by partnering with Crayon, gaining expert support to meet rising demand and deliver high-impact outcomes. AfterDark Technology has a mature security practice, with growing demand for advisory engagements and solution implementation services.  A key component of their cybersecurity services program is an assessment built around the Australian governments Essential Eight framework. 

To expand the program, cover more ground and build continued pipeline, AfterDark Technology chose to leverage Crayon’s through-partner Essential Eight Assessment service.  

With Crayon, AfterDark gained access to a team of technical experts with the skillsets, knowledge and capacity to deliver the service and provide analysis to the high standards and turnaround time required. 

Cybersecurity is a complex domain. Non-technical customers can be challenged to understand how investment will help meet their business objectives. As AfterDark’s founder Steve Gibson puts it “there is always an education piece first.”  

Crayon’s service excellence makes a difference on this for AfterDark. Working with Crayon, AfterDark was enabled to consider solution options from within our extensive cybersecurity portfolio that could help their customers save money, control costs and as improve their security posture.
