The Nonprofit Landscape in Asia Pacific
Nonprofits face all the challenges of every modern business environment. As such, there is increased demand for technology and software solutions that can help nonprofits to improve operational efficiencies, control costs, harden security and increase their competitive pace in the digital era.
Asia Pacific is projected to see strong growth in demand for software solutions and business applications that can help to achieve these outcomes.
Global nonprofit software is projected to expand from USD 2.02 billion in 2017 to USD 3.72 billion by 2030. This is driven in part by rising demand for software that helps nonprofits manage volunteer resources, donors and fundraising.
Increased adoption of cloud-based solutions and software drives a corresponding need for services. The Tech For Good program exists to connect service providers, technology solutions and the nonprofit sector together, to deliver improved outcomes for all.

Serving the greater good has its challenges
The work of nonprofits, social enterprises, and for-purpose organisations is vital. Advocating for the vulnerable, strengthening communities and driving social change requires a lot of resource. Meeting the growing need to support people and the planet with limited funding is a constant challenge.
Technology is a powerful tool for increasing social impact with more connected, collaborative, efficient and secure ways of working. Yet, the cost of modernising technology systems can be perceived as a trade-off against funding vital programs and services.
That’s where our Tech For Good program comes in. We unite partners, vendors, and philanthropic enterprises to offer affordable, accessible technology solutions and services to the nonprofit sector.
Working together, we can make a positive difference to those that serve the greater good.
Program Origins
Our business was founded on principles of entrepreneurship, customer trust, and respect for diversity. We believe in the power of technology to drive the greater good.
We back our belief with action, and have embedded environmental, social, and governance targets into the fabric of our business. Our global Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy has been scaled across APAC. It aligns four key pillars – People, Purpose, Planet, and Prosperity to support like-minded partners to pursue positive social impacts and outcomes beyond profitability.
As part of this commitment, Crayon was the first Asia-Pacific (APAC) distributor in the market with Microsoft’s Tech for Social Impact (TSI) program in 2019. Today, we are the largest Microsoft TSI partner in APAC.
The Crayon Tech For Good program encompasses the Microsoft TSI program and goes further to help nonprofit organisations reduce costs and streamline operations through other technology vendors and solutions.
Through this program, Crayon currently enables and collaborates with hundreds of partners, and supports 1000+ organisations in the non-profit space.
