Crayon, a global leader in IT services and innovation, has been named a finalist in the ARN Innovation Awards 2025, recognised in three Distributor categories: Specialist, Creativity, and Software.
Now in its 19th year, the ARN Innovation Awards celebrate excellence and transformative leadership in Australia’s IT channel, from start-ups and partners to distributors, vendors, and industry achievers. Being named a finalist alongside the country’s top organisations reflects Crayon’s continued commitment to redefining distribution through its Distribution, Done Differently approach.
Crayon’s model focuses on long-term, partner-first collaboration anchored on six value pillars: enablement, expertise, service, relationship, community, and platform. This approach goes beyond traditional, transactional distribution by empowering partners to grow their own capabilities and customer value. Recognising that many SMBs struggle to align emerging technologies with business outcomes, Crayon has invested deeply in specialisation across AI, hybrid cloud, and security. Partners gain access to licensing experts, solution architects, and white-label service teams who help them build, test, and scale specialist offerings. This ecosystem is built on trust that has seen Crayon retain 97% of its APAC partners.
The partner-first strategy comes to life through Crayon’s Australian partnerships with SecurITon Technologies and Zavanti, which were featured in Crayon’s award submissions.
Through Crayon’s Technology Advisory Group, SecurITon designed a secure Azure architecture for its customer, migrated legacy applications, and trained in-house IT teams to strengthen long-term capability. Backed by Crayon’s technical and licensing expertise, SecurITon helped its customer overcome high costs, security gaps, and limited agility, achieving a confident and cost-effective move to the cloud.
Meanwhile, Crayon’s collaboration with Zavanti focused on transforming the social housing experience for Community Housing Limited (CHL). Together, they consolidated 26 legacy systems into one integrated platform, streamlining tenancy, maintenance, finance, and customer engagement into a single view. Crayon developed custom IP to connect Zavanti Housing’s front end with Microsoft Business Central, enabling automated workflows and reliable data flow in the organisation.
