Yes! Nerdio will assist partners on initial on-boarding and will supply project guidelines and support through real-time chat. Additionally, go-live assistance outside of business hours can be scheduled by the partner at least one week ahead of time.
There are many ways to reduce costs in AVD. Using Reserved instances to reserve the VMs ahead of time and Azure Hybrid Benefit to leverage licensing you already own can reduce compute cost by as much as 80%. Also, utilizing auto-scale to ‘scale in’ your host pools after hours can ensure you aren’t paying for VMs that don’t need to be running.
Cost is dependent upon the number of desktop users and the Azure resources necessary to support your users. Compared to the potential savings though, Nerdio cost should be miniscule. It can pay for itself in the first 7-10 days of the month, depending on the customer.
