(Sydney, Australia) — Crayon, a leader in IT services and innovation, today announced it is accelerating value for partners through combining two partner-first organisations to form the strongest channel distribution business in Asia Pacific.
Crayon’s recent acquisition of rhipe means more partners can strengthen their own offerings thanks to a broader global service capability and non-compete business model.
“We have a partner-first commitment,” said Rhonda Robati who leads both organisations across the region. “To maintain this position and support our partners, we are bringing our teams together and we are thrilled that Warren Nolan (former rhipe Group Executive) will lead the strategic partner business across the region as Senior Vice President for Channel and Strategy.”
“Additionally, Florent Bellahsene will be leading Crayon’s sales and services business as the newly appointed Senior Vice President of Sales & Services,” Robati said.
“We are leveraging the expertise that exists across both organisations to drive innovation and deliver a broader global product, solution and service capability to our ecosystem,” said CEO Melissa Mulholland. “By harnessing the incredible talent we have at Crayon and rhipe, we collectively drive successful outcomes for our partners and end-customers.”
Crayon, the world’s third-largest Microsoft SPLA Aggregator and CSP Indirect Provider, acquired rhipe in November as part of its global expansion strategy. Crayon’s partner footprint has grown to over 7,000 partners.
Through the acquisition, partners are now able to service a wider range of customers, from SMBs to the enterprise. With access to more domain experts and cloud platforms, partners are empowered to be leaders in their field and increase productivity and operational efficiency.
“Having two partner-first organisations come together allows us to offer unprecedented technical, transformational and business development support,” Nolan said. “This enables us to be the best option for all Cloud Service Providers.”
Martin McGregor, Devicie CEO and a Crayon ISV partner has seen firsthand how Crayon is committed to its partners’ success.
“The partnership we have with Crayon has been instrumental in providing real value to our customers,” McGregor said. “Other businesses are in a fortunate position to access the best of both worlds: The channel excellence that rhipe delivers while tapping into Crayon’s team of experts.”
McGregor’s experience in Crayon is common among all its partners and is a driving force behind Crayon’s 95% partner retention rate in APAC.
